CAREER BUSINESS UNIT MEDTECH
The MedTech business unit was first mentioned in the strategy paper under the new management team with Andreas Halbleib at the end of 2018. The expansion into medical technology was already obvious at that time, as the interdisciplinarity of the team as well as the experience from over 500 innovation projects has produced a considerable number of products with well-known customers from the Med- as well as HealthTech sector.
QUO AG was already present with several reference projects at events and trade fairs in 2019, such as MEET THE EXPERT Implants 2019, the MedTech Innovation Event Biel or the Swiss MedTech Day, where we were able to present our medical technology competencies to a broad professional audience.
QUO AG combines extensive know-how, many years of experience and an interdisciplinary team to support its clientele in the development of advanced products, innovative technologies, sustainable services and future strategies. This know-how is strengthened by the fact that Andreas Halbleib has been a board member of the independent association Health Tech Cluster Switzerland since December 2019 and is thus additionally close to the pulse of the times. The cooperation brings many advantages in both directions. The members of Health Tech Cluster Switzerland can draw on a wealth of experience in product development within MedTech, and QUO AG’s customers can rely on the partnerships that have been established over the years, as well as on a competent network. Thus, a profitable and strong synergy has been created in both directions.
At QUO AG, the motto is “combined know-how” and this will increase even further with the addition of Stefan Gaul and Robert Lurf. The detailing and optimization of the innovation processes at QUO AG and the definition of the interfaces to EN ISO 13485 as well as the planning of a possible certification have already been announced. The network is to be further expanded with the goal of long-term and international projects, while existing customers will continue to be actively supported.
