Welcome Thomas Zeilmann, Project Manager
As a result of my previous activities in the areas of sales and business development, I am aware of the importance of new product ideas and the economic benefit of genuine innovations. I gained my initial professional experience during my research activity at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Lausanne (EPFL), then later as a chemical engineer in plant engineering and process engineering development for the chemical and pharmaceutical industries.
During this period, I also had the opportunity over a number of years to support investment projects in China from planning to implementation through to commissioning. My fields of interest and studies in physics, process engineering, economic sciences and sociology provide me with a broad basis for understanding a wide range of challenges.
Now, together with the team at QUO and our customers, I look forward to tackling exciting issues and to applying my knowledge and experience to successful innovation projects. Of particular interest to me are complex issues which encompass not only the technical aspects of an innovation, but also the associated organisational and structural changes. Innovation projects involve entrepreneurial risks, but also hold significant opportunities for success. With open and transparent communication, I would like to contribute towards using these opportunities.
