The development of new drugs is a lengthy and cost-intensive process, and at the same time the product life cycle for drugs is becoming increasingly shorter. With this in mind, Synple Chem has developed a process to automate labor-intensive chemical syntheses. This saves time and money.

EASY TO USE DEVICE ENABLES AUTOMATIC CHEMICAL SYNTHESES

The Synthesizer developed by Synple Chem enables researchers with basic chemical expertise to synthesize high-purity organic components fully automated and quickly during drug development.
The functional principle of the synthesizer is similar to that of the popular coffee capsule systems. Depending on the desired reaction, a corresponding reagent cartridge is inserted into the device. Together with the starting material, the chemical reaction is carried out fully automated and the desired molecules are synthesized.

COMPACT AND USER-FRIENDLY DESIGN

According to Synple Chem’s specifications, QUO developed a beta prototype of the synthesizer, which could be used for user tests by customers. The aim was to integrate the proven technology into a compact, user-friendly device.
When developing the Beta prototype, QUO was able to draw on its many years of experience and expertise in the areas of industrial design, engineering and prototype development.

FIRST USER-TESTS SUCCESSFUL

The first results of the user tests are now available and confirm the good work of Synple Chem and QUO. Both the technology and the prototype of this user-friendly device have passed all functional tests and received good reviews. Valuable feedback could also be gained for later series production. In a next step, Synple Chem will now tackle the industrialization of the synthesizer.
