Alessia Kober, MSc ETH Health Science and Technology, Major in Medical Technology, will be supporting QUO AG in the coming months as part of an internship. We are happy to give her the floor for a personal introduction!
The interdisciplinary and sustainable product development processes at QUO are the basis for wanting to work on the complex and varied projects with great curiosity. I am happy to be part of this open-minded team, new ideas and innovations.
Based on my studies at the interface of medicine and technology, I would like to support ideas for improving the quality of life and transfer my knowledge of the perfectly op-timised human system to new projects. The well-being of other people is very important to me and I am looking forward to bringing joy and satisfaction to others with my work.
During my studies at the ETH Zurich, I learned to accept challenges without prejudice and to realize sustainable solutions. In the course of various internships I have preferably dealt with the world of exoskeletons and biomechanics. Be it the kinematics of the joints, the muscle activity or the energy consumption, the internal processes were analysed coherently in order to understand their interaction and the dependencies on the mechanical input.
Following the principle of “all or nothing”, I am looking forward to learning as much as I can in the upcoming time, to improve my manual skills and to make a place for sustainability in my work.
We are very happy that Alessia joins our team and wish her a good start and much success!
